Beloved husband and father, Ronald Elwood Hansen, age 58, passed away peacefully Oct. 30, 2005 in Provo, Utah. Ron was born Nov. 19, 1946 in Salt Lake City to H. Elwood and Irene Anderson Hansen. He loved his family, especially his granddaughter Morgan. He was also well loved by countless friends that are too numerous to name. He had a special group of fellow horsemen with whom he shared a unique bond "The Posse." Deborah, his wife, and Ron spent many wonderful times in the mountains with their horses. He was a special, gentle man, filled with thoughtfulness, wit and love for all those close to him. He is survived by his loving wife, J. Deborah; cherished children, Jacob Hansen and Taylor (Adam) Knight; brothers Phillip, Paul and Kim Hansen; sister Vicki Medley; and granddaughter Morgan Hansen; stepsons, Robert and Daniel Treager; stepdaughter Leslie Keller; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 11 a.m., at the Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 No. Main, Heber. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery.
