Heber Valley Aero Museum seeks sponsors
The Heber Valley Aero Museum and the Commemorative Air Force will produce the annual Heber Valley Airshow and Fly-in, Saturday, July 8, 2006. the theme of this year’s show is planes, trains and automobiles. Proceeds from the show benefit the Heber Valley Aero Museum.
Festivities include airshow performances by a variety of aircraft, static aircraft and vintage car displays, food booths, a children’s play land, museum displays and warbirds.

Utah skiers can grab a snow report before hitting the slopes on their phone, according to Ski Utah President Nathan Rafferty. This year, Ski Utah has added Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) to its Web site, to allow users to access information instantly via handheld wireless devices such as mobile phones, pagers, two-way radios, smartphones and communicators. WAP is supported by all operating systems. Ones specifically engineered for handheld devices include PalmOS, EPOC, Windows CE, FLEXOS, OS/9, and JavaOS. Ski Utah offers its snow report as a smaller file to accommodate the low memory constraints of handheld devices and the low-bandwidth constraints of a wireless-handheld network. Use an Internet-ready cell phone and go to the URL http://mobile.skiutah.com, and access the weather and latest snow conditions for all Utah resorts.
