Wallet with $150 inside swiped from store counter in Park City

The Park City Police Department last week received a report that a wallet was stolen that apparently had been put on a store counter.

The case was reported at 3:21 p.m. on Sept. 12 on Sidewinder Drive. The police were told the wallet had approximately $150 in cash as well as bank cards inside.

In another case involving lost money, the police were told that a yellow change purse was missing on the 800 block of Main Street. The police received the complaint at 3:14 p.m. on Sept. 14. The police were told there was approximately $170 in cash inside. Identification, a bank card and a cell phone were also inside, the police were told.

The two cases followed shortly after a wallet with approximately $2,000 in cash inside was reported missing somewhere in Park City. That case was logged on Sept. 9 in Old Town.
