The Park City Police Department last week received at least two complaints about people who might be hunting inside the city limits, something that is prohibited.
The two complaints were lodged by people in different neighborhoods, one in Park Meadows and the other on the edge of Solamere.
On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 1:33 p.m., the police received a report from someone on Rising Star Lane, which is on the edge of Solamere, who said they had seen several armed hunters.
The hunters had made a trail to use to access the mountainous terrain, the police were told. They crossed private property, the person who contacted the police said. The hunters drove a red pickup truck and a Jeep, the person told the police, adding that they moved between the vicinity of Rising Star Lane and Park City Heights.
The police classified the case as trespassing.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:56 a.m., a man dressed in camouflage and carrying a bow was seen on Fairway Hills Court, a street on the edge of Park Meadows.
Hunting is prohibited inside the Park City limits. The Police Department in the fall has received occasional complaints about hunters inside or on the edge of Park City neighborhoods.
