On behalf of the Summit Land Conservancy, I’d like to thank our community partners who contributed to the success of our 5th annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival. Local sponsor and official Patagonia representative Jan’s Mountain Outfitters, along with 350 Main Brasserie, the Utah Olympic Park, Allgood Provisions and Cole Sport, and Polar Express Games generously donated great door prize items for members of our audience. The Park City Film Series crew and our fabulous volunteers ensured that the film screening ran seamlessly. A special thanks to Megan Fernandez, who engineered our most successful Film Fest ever.
We would also like to thank our friends at High West Distillery and Promontory Ranch who celebrated this event with us. Steve Roney and Prudential Utah also deserve special thanks for being wonderful local “open spacers.”
Hosting this environmental film festival enables the Summit Land Conservancy to share our passion for open space protection and to increase our membership so that we can continue to save land. Our members play an integral role in the success of the Conservancy by spreading the word about the importance of local land conservation, monitoring our conserved properties through our “Adopt an Easement” program, joining our 1% for Open Space or Monthly Member programs, and volunteering at special events.
We are also grateful for beautiful article that The Park Record printed about the film fest in the Wednesday paper.
