Start Smart Soccer
The parent/child Start Smart Soccer program prepares children for organized soccer in a fun, no-pressure environment. A parent must be present each week to work one-on-one with their child, ages three to five. The program alternates Wednesdays and Saturdays, Sept. 3 to 17, 5 to 5:45 p.m. on Wednesdays and 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Saturdays. The fee is $65. Coed Flag Football

Swing for Sports
Join Basin Recreation for the second annual Swing for Sports golf tournament on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Park City Golf Course. Intro to Lacrosse Clinic
Want the youngsters to learn the basics of lacrosse this fall? Basin Recreation is hosting a 7-week Introduction to Lacrosse clinic from Aug. 28 through Oct. 11 at The Fieldhouse. Boys pre-schoolers will practice on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Boys kindergarteners will practice on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Girls first and second graders will practice on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $15 per session or $70 for the whole clinic. Newpark Miles Return
Every Monday night in August, lace up your running shoes with your family, friends, kids and colleagues and meet at Newpark Amphitheatre for a 1 Mile…ish fun run along the path overlooking the beautiful Swaner Nature Preserve. Newpark Miles starts at 6:30 p.m., so come walk, jog, run, waddle or race your way towards 224 and then make your way back for some Park City community camaraderie. Dog Obedience Classes at the PC MARC
Certified local dog trainer Heather Hampsten will teach Puppy, Basic and Intermediate classes on Tuesdays, July 29 to Sept. 2, at the PC MARC. Classes are for adults over 16 and their dogs. PC SUP Fitness and Yoga Classes
Park City Standup Paddleboarding hosts SUP yoga classes six times a week, at 10 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. SUP Fit classes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. The classes are held at the Deer Valley ponds, located at 1375 Deer Valley Drive South. The cost for all classes is $20, which includes a board and paddle rental. Groups of three or more can set up private classes. Fall Soccer
Fall is fast approaching, so it’s time to sign up for Basin Recreation Fall Soccer. Youth Flag Football
Ready, set, hike! It’s time to sign up for Basin Recreation Youth Flag Football. Games and practices will be held at The Fieldhouse from Aug. 25 through Oct. 17 starting with player evaluations. Park City M.O.B. (Moms on Bikes)
PC Recreation offers free weekly, drop-in mountain bike rides led by moms for moms. These rides improve ability and confidence, while making new friends. Park City SUP Kids Camp
Park City Standup Paddleboarding is hosting two kids’ camps this summer. The next session will be Aug. 18-22. The camp will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Girls Basketball Skill Sessions

Sessions will be free, and the focus will be improving individual skill sets as well as building a foundation for playing together as a team.
Outlaw Golf Club Open
