President Joe Biden will appear in Park City next week to attend a campaign fundraising event, according to a report in the Deseret News. Biden is scheduled to make a campaign swing through Utah, New Mexico and Arizona next week, beginning Monday, although little at this point is known about his itinerary beyond his intention to collect funds for the 2024 presidential election.
Biden will be in Park City on Thursday, Aug. 10, “for a fundraiser hosted by Kristi and John Cumming, founder of ski resort company Powdr, and Nancy and Mark Gilbert, former U.S. ambassador,” the Deseret News reported. “The event is being advertised as a fundraiser for the Biden Victory Fund, the committee backing Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign. (At the time of publication, Mark Gilbert — a Park City resident — had not returned a request for comment.)”
