YouTheatre Presents ‘Biz Town’
Egyptian Theatre‘s YouTheatre will present “Biz Town,” a new work by award-winning playwright Rachel Bublitz, from Nov. 10-12 at the Egyptian Theatre Studios, 330 Main St. Friday’s performance starts at 5 p.m. Saturday’s performances include a 2 p.m. matinee and 5 p.m. evening show, and Sunday’s curtain opens at 5 p.m. “Biz Town” is a crime caper comedy that takes place in a school classroom when the teacher, Miss J, assigns an “adult life” simulation project, which transforms her class into a modern city with a hospital, bookshop, zoo and an exotic pet store. Sawyer Brown at the DeJoria Center
Award-winning country-music band Sawyer Brown will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the DeJoria Center at High Star Ranch, 268 Spring Drive in Kamas. The band, known for the hits “Step By Step,” “Thank God for You” and “This Night Won’t Last Forever,” has entertained the world over with its founding core members — lead vocalist Mark Miller, keyboardist Gregg “Hobie” Hubbard and drummer Joe “Curly” Smyth. Hikes and Crafts at the Swaner EcoCenter
Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction, hosts Saturday morning nature walks at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for local residents.
