Parkite distance runner Grant Fisher is back in town for the summer, and ready to see all of your faces, as he prepares to host a community run Saturday morning with Mack’s Finest Gelato Works. Fisher and all attendees will run Park City’s Rail Trail, from Mack’s, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Runners can run as much of the 28 mile trail as they’d like, with Mack’s opening early after the run with espresso and gelato, their specialties. Profits from Mack’s will go to the National Ability Center, a Park City nonprofit offering adaptive sports and recreation opportunities.
Fisher is coming off an inaugural Grand Slam Track title last week, also winning two bronze medals at last summer’s Olympic Games.
Mack’s is located at 1890 Bonanza Drive in town, between Stacked Sandwich Co. and El Chubasco. Runners can arrive at Mack’s anytime between 9 and 9:30 a.m.
