On Saturday, June 14, I went to observe the Park City No Kings rally. Firstly, extolments are due to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the Park City Police Department for maintaining order during the event. Unfortunately civility did not reign at other No Kings rallies.
At the Salt Lake City rally, Arthur Folasa Ah Loo was fatally shot by one of two protestor volunteer “safety marshals.” Yet Arturo Gamboa was initially charged with murder and released the following Monday.
It was reported that Gamboa raised a rifle toward the crowd. Gamboa was then shot by another protester. The protester fired three rounds, wounding Gamboa and killing Ah Loo. The other protester was affiliated with the group 50501. 50501 (meaning, “50 protests in 50 cities in 1 day”) is one of the nearly 200 leftist factions connected with No Kings. Various sources depict the actual shooter as a 50501 “safety marshal” whose function was to move about the crowd and endeavor to deescalate conflict should it arise. Safety marshals don neon vests and typically are not armed. At time of this writing the “safety marshals” were not charged or even identified. There were two marshals responding to the Gamboa situation.
The chief responsibility of the armed citizen is to know what is beyond the intended target and practice sound judgment prior to discharging his firearm.
This chain of events is collaborated in The Guardian, Fox 13, The Associated Press, and the Salt Lake Police Department web page. The AP’s Matthew Brown reported, “The demonstration (other than the murder) involving some 18,000 people was otherwise peaceful.”
When I arrived at the rally point, the Kimble Junction Whole Foods parking lot, I noticed that the crowd was comprised mostly of what Rush would call “seasoned citizens.” I include myself in that cohort, but my initial thought was, aren’t they old enough to know better?
It was Black Lives Matter all over again. BLM, the self-proclaimed anti-family trained Marxists who duped the willing, is being emulated by No Kings. Prior to the rally No Kings — through emails and a Zoom call by one of their front groups, Indivisible — disseminated the expected Alinskite mantra, “Accuse others of what you do.” The opposition constantly raises up a frenzied diatribe of name calling, such as “fascist” and “authoritarian.”
I would encourage the acquisition of a dictionary and look up fascist. Spoiler alert, it doesn’t mean poopie head. Fascism differs from communism in that private property is allowed only with the heavy hand of regulation and government scrutiny.
In contrast to the left’s tiresome rhetoric of victimology and oppression, the keystone of President Trump’s first 100 days of success is deregulation and reducing the government’s leviathan bureaucracy. Lean and efficient governance is antithetical to fascism.
And shame on those who subscribe to the of common fear-mongering sloganeering; “Trump and Musk are slashing Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid.” Cutting shovel-ready fraud, waste and abuse is not “slashing.” It’s duty. Of the numerous groups (See nokings.org) that support No Kings, many are government employee unions. Could it be that “one man’s fraud is another man’s rice bowl.”
And here’s a hack to avoid deportation: Don’t enter my homeland illegally.
While there was no obvious indication that there were paid performers locally, with that being said “No Kings is more Astro Turf than grassroots,” says Asra Q. Nomani, the co-founder of the Clarity Coalition and Muslim Reform Movement.(https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/asra-nomani-2-1-billion-machine-behind-spontaneous-anti-trump-protests)
Nomani explains, “We must not be fooled. True protest rises from the people. This? These are the kings and queens of the Democratic political machine summoning their minions to take to the streets to feign a fake people’s revolution.”
According to new research by the Pearl Project, the #NoKings protest is being organized by an estimated 198 groups, all of which are aligned with the Democratic Party and many of which claim tax-exempt, “nonpartisan” nonprofit status. Collectively, these groups take in $2.1 billion in annual revenues.

My recommendation: Before taking it to the streets, exercise your due diligence.
