The Park Record told readers the decision to transform Bonanza Park has been delayed at least six weeks.
We were just getting to know Park City when the Maverik gas station and other treasured retailers at the corner of Kearns and Bonanza were demolished in what seemed to me the blink of an eye.
Please explain how some decisions, usually to the detriment of Park City residents, happen quickly as the bulldozers roll in, and decisions that seem to be of benefit drag on forever.
I alternately grieve and get angry every time I drive by the former Maverick location.
