I am extremely proud to endorse Beth Armstrong to fill one of the two openings on the Park City Council this year. I have served on boards with her over the years and was always impressed with her inclusive, thoughtful participation. She was never shy to express her thoughts and listened carefully as others expressed theirs. She is a uniter, not a divider, and ensures all voices are heard.
During her 20 years in Park City, in addition to being a wife and mother, Beth has devoted her time, talents and energy to serving the community. She was the executive director of the People’s Health Clinic for seven years and has served on 13 local boards. She served on the Park City Board of Adjustment as well as the Public Art Advisory Board while also helping to found the Early Childhood Alliance and chairing the Gray Ribbon Committee to advocate for senior housing. Boards she recently or currently served on include KPCW, the Park City/Heber Hospital Board and Park City Chamber Board of Directors.
Most importantly, Beth is intelligent and kind with a heart for the underserved. When elected to the Park City Council, she will do the hard work necessary to understand the complex issues that are facing our city and will be sensitive to the impacts of decisions on community members.
