It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse Beth Armstrong for Park City Council.
I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Summit County Council for 16 years and working closely with many community leaders. Beth stands out as an exceptional candidate whose integrity, intelligence and compassion make her uniquely qualified to serve.
Beth’s commitment to Park City runs deep. She served for seven years as executive director of the People’s Health Clinic, providing vital health care to uninsured residents of Summit and Wasatch counties. Her long-term service on the boards of Park City Hospital, the Park City Board of Adjustment, the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center, the Park City Chamber of Commerce and the Deer Valley/Utah Symphony among others reflects both her leadership and her deep investment in the well-being of our community.
She was a founding member of the Women’s Giving Fund and served nationally on the boards of the American Hospital Association and the Association of Free Clinics.
Currently, she brings her thoughtful leadership to her role as vice president at Reef Capital. Beth is not only extremely intelligent — she’s remarkably kind. She brings people together, builds bridges, and fosters the necessary relationships to solve difficult problems.
That’s exactly what Park City needs. Beth understands the importance of close collaboration between Park City and Summit County to tackle regional challenges like housing, transportation and growth. I believe she will be a strong and reliable partner in this critical work.
Beth Armstrong gets things done — and she does it with humility, insight and grace. Park City would be fortunate to have her on the council.
