Historic Echo Church Open for the Season
The historic Echo Church, located at 60 Temple Ln. in Echo, will welcome visitors from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. every Saturday through Aug. 30. It will also be open to the public Monday, Sept. 1. The church will feature an exhibit, “Immigration: An American Story,” from the New York-based Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Admission is free. Ballet West Academy Open House
The Frederick Quinney Lawson Ballet West Academy’s Peggy Bergmann Park City Campus will host an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 786 Division Street. The move to the new location comes as a direct response to the rapidly growing enrollment. The Ballet West Academy in Park City provides a world-class performing arts experience for all its dancers. Led by Allison DeBona, who retired from a distinguished 15-year career as First Soloist with Ballet West in spring 2022, the academy offers comprehensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and musical theatre. Park City Opera’s ‘The Barber of Seville’
Park City Opera will debut its full-production of Gioachino Rossini’s comedic opera “The Barber of Seville” on Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Jim Santy Auditorium. ‘Flo! the Show!’ Auditions
Students in grades six and above are invited to audition for the Egyptian Theatre’s YouTheatre production of “Flo! The Show!.” The new musical, which will run the first two weekends in December, was written by Park City-resident and award-winning songwriter and composer Mary Beth Maziarz. Park City Singers Rehearsals
Park City Singers invite vocalists to join the choir during rehearsals on Sept. 9 and Sept. 16.
