I am proud to endorse Jack Rubin for mayor of Park City. I have known him for many years and believe Jack is a proven leader who has combined professional success with a deep commitment to community service.
His background as a seasoned executive, nonprofit board chair, and advocate for affordable housing demonstrates a lifelong dedication to producing more than he consumes.
Since moving to Park City full time in 2014, Jack has invested his time and energy into understanding the unique challenges we face — from tourism pressures and housing affordability to climate change and the importance of protecting our cultural heritage. He doesn’t just admire Park City’s beauty. He has rolled up his sleeves to ensure its strength and sustainability for the future.
What sets Jack apart is his belief that residents should always come first. He has a track record of fighting for local control, championing policies that reflect community values, and creating innovative solutions that directly benefit people — like the Most Vulnerable Fund, which provided critical aid to Summit County families during COVID.
Jack understands that while businesses, resorts, and developers are important voices, it is the people of Park City who define our character and future. As mayor, I believe he will lead with integrity, intelligence and respect, ensuring that every decision from City Hall strengthens the community we all love.
For these reasons and more, I wholeheartedly support Jack Rubin for mayor of Park City. It’s time for a new face in leading our great city.
