It is my honor to support Ryan Dickey’s candidacy for Park City mayor. Through my work as Summit County attorney, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with Ryan Dickey for years — first on the Snyderville Basin Planning Commission, and later through cross-jurisdictional partnerships — and I have watched first hand how he leads: respectfully, thoughtfully and with a commitment to listening even in difficult debates. He is accessible, responsive and open minded.
Public service demands integrity, transparency, and a deep understanding of how government functions — not just in theory, but in practice. Through his many years of public service and community involvement, Ryan has prepared to now serve as mayor. He has proven that he is hardworking, honest and well-informed. Ryan has also developed key relationships, trust and lines of communication that will be essential to performing the job of mayor.
If you know me, you know I am a student of history. I believe knowing where we’ve been is essential to guiding where we go. Ryan does not ignore our past; he honors it. Yet he also recognizes the places where we’ve made mistakes and offers ideas to do better. That kind of humility and vision is rare in politics today.
I support Ryan Dickey, and I encourage every voter to review his record, weigh his leadership, and trust in his ability to lead us forward.
