As a board member at PC Tots, I want to share my appreciation for Vail Resorts for the continuous support they give to PC Tots. We have received over $45,000 a year for eight years from the Vail Resorts EpicPromise grant. That support to us, as a critical Park City nonprofit organization, helps us scale impact including providing over $840,000 annually in tuition scholarships to our workforce families. Additionally, Vail Resorts has supported us with a venue, food, and auction items (in-kind ski passes, golf rounds, and spa sessions) at our annual Birthday Bash fundraiser.
As our valued partner, Vail Resorts understands the importance of supporting early childhood education as a necessity to sustain our local workforce. They know that if parents do not have accessible childcare in Summit County, they cannot work and live here, which hurts our local economy. They understand that children who are kindergarten-ready have the best chance for academic success and to ultimately become productive members of our community.
