R.C. Chambers Lecture
Park City Museum and Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History will host a lecture, “R.C. Chambers Part 2,” by Brian Buck and Sandy Brumley at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the museum’s Education and Collections Center, 2079 Sidewinder Drive. Robert Craig Chambers served as the agent of George Hearst in the acquisition of The Ontario Mine, and Brumley, along with Mark Danninger, gave a lecture on that relationship last year. This lecture will touch on Chambers’ relationship with mining moguls John Daly and Marcus Daly, who were not related. More information can be found at parkcityhistory.org/events.
Kamas Valley Library Classic Film Club
The Summit County Library’s Kamas Valley Branch Classic Film Club will present a free screening of Preston Sturges’ 1941 comedy, “The Invisible Man,” at 6 p.m. on Thursday at 110 N. Park City Film’s Robert Redford Tribute Series: ‘All the Presidents Men’
Park City Film will host a special free screening of Alan J. Pakula’s 1973 Academy Award-winning film, “All the President’s Men,” rated PG, at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Park City Library. Family-Friendly Puzzle Races at the Library
Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., will host free, family-friendly puzzle races from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. Teams of three can Race to complete 35-, 100- or 300-piece puzzles.
