Children’s Film Festival
Park City Film and the New York International Children’s Film Festival will host free screenings of an array of family-friendly short films that showcase empowerment, perseverance and magic at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Park City Library. Classic Film Club: ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington’
The Kamas Library’s Classic Film Club presents a free screening of Frank Capra’s 1939 charmer, “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.” at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Summit County Library Kamas Valley Branch, 110 N. Main St. in Kamas. Jimmy Stewart plays a naïve scoutmaster who is appointed to the U.S. Senate, discovers corruption and fights it in a legendary filibuster. Noah Cyrus Reschedules
The Noah Cyrus concert originally scheduled for Dec. 13 at The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Collection has been rescheduled to Saturday, Feb. 27. The Grammy Award-nominated Cyrus will perform an intimate acoustic set as part of the Auberge Concert Series. The evening will benefit the Saving Gracie Equine Healing Foundation, a nonprofit founded by The Lodge at Blue Sky co-owner Barb Philips, that rescues and rehabilitates neglected and abused horses while providing equine-assisted therapy to individuals in need.
