The Park City mayor and half the City Council demonstrated that the desires of the voters and an individual’s qualifications do not count in Park City. After a mayoral election that was decided by seven votes, the council had the opportunity to bring the community together.
They fumbled the ball. And with the help of our new mayor, they ignored Jack Rubin’s impeccable qualifications, experience and the desires of Park City voters.
This vote gives the mayor a three-person majority on the council. It will further divide our fractured community.
