Park City Follies Tickets
Tickets for Park City Follies, the annual musical spoof that pokes fun at all things Park City, are on sale. Performances for this year’s production runs April 17-19, 22-26 and 29-May 3. ‘Spring Into Art’ at the Yarrow
The Park City Artists Association continues its “Spring Into Art” exhibit and show Saturday and Sunday at the DoubleTree by Hilton Park City — The Yarrow, 1800 Park Ave. Saturday’s hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday’s hours run from noon-4 p.m. Admission and parking are free. The event, which is celebrating its third year, features nearly 28 locally based artists whose specialties include metal, painting, multi-media collages, photography and more. ‘Strong Women of Kamas Valley’
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Kamas Valley History Group will present “Strong Women of Kamas Valley: Women and Their Work” at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the Summit County Library’s Kamas Valley Branch, 110 N. Main St. The event will feature stories of some inspirational women who have called the Kamas Valley home. This event is free, and all are welcome to attend. No registration required. ‘Project Hail Mary’ Book Discussion
The Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter will partner with the Park City Library for a book discussion about Andy Weir’s “Project Hail Mary” at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the library, 1255 Park Ave. The book is the basis for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s film of the same name starring Ryan Gosling. The discussion is open to the public — anyone who has read the book or has seen the film. Attendees will receive a ticket to the Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter’s interactive and bilingual exhibit, “Life on the Edge,” which explores extreme environments.
