One Book, One Community: Author Shelley Read
Park City Library and the Summit County Library’s One Book, One Community program will present Shelley Read, author of this year’s selection, “Go as a River,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The event is free and open to the public. Read will discuss her book, which has been translated into 35 languages and has landed on dozens of best seller lists in 45 countries around the world, and participate in a book signing. Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard of Little Feat
Little Feat guitarists and singers and songwriters Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard plan to dismantle their swampy wall-of-sound trademark with a string of four intimate acoustic shows Thursday through Sunday at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. The musicians will tell stories and perform songs from Little Feat and their respective careers.
